The Jazzy Sundowner Sessions continue at Van Ryn’s this December with The Ploemies, a Cape Town based collective known for rewriting the script on the local jazz scene.
Expect a vibrant mix of always infectious Cape Jazz, original compositions, and proudly South African sounds, blended with rhythms from across the continent like Ghoema, Marabenta and Kwassa-Kwassa. Led by the incredible Shaun Johannes, The Ploemies bring pure summer energy to the iconic golden hour.
